Our goal is ZERO harm.

At PeopleCo, safety is our number one corporate value. We believe safer people create safer workplaces. We start by finding the right people for the right job. We protect them with the right equipment and the right knowledge and then provide ongoing support that allows them to work safely on our clients’ sites every day.

Our 100% commitment to safety applies to every person and every client site. There is no compromise when it comes to safety.

The safety of our employees, contractors and the local communities we serve is an integral part of our business. We encourage all our people and stakeholders, both internal and external to our business to participate in and contribute to the improvement of our OHS Management System.

Highlights from our approach to safety:

  • In-depth Work Place Risk Assessments (WRA’s) provide critical information that supports our mission to ensure all PeopleCo employees return home in the same condition in which they left for work.

  • On-site Safety Toolbox Talks involve all employees and contractors to ensure there is never any doubt in what is required when it comes to safety

  • STOP Take 5 – Pre-task Reviews allow PeopleCo employees to learn how to assess hazards and analyse risks.  Partner Profiles are completed for each new site and delivered to each new employee or contractor prior to starting work. We learn as much about your business as possible to ensure you receive the right person, on time, every time.

  • Every employee is assessed in a Flex-Screen™ test. A Flex-Screen™ is a physical assessment conducted at interview stage, where we measure the appropriate level of physical activity / labour that the individual is able to perform without risk to themselves or others. After each assessment, the candidate is given a grouping. This grouping is cross referenced with the vacant position to ensure they are fit for the job.

PeopleCo upholds the industry leading safety standards of our parent entity, SKILLED Group. Read the SKILLED Group OHS Policy  to find out more.
